Hoboken Business Alliance Hoboken Art Month

The City of Hoboken’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) launched Hoboken Art Month, a five-week celebration of arts and cultural heritage. Taking place throughout the city through the end of October, Hoboken Art Month provides greater visibility and access to local artists, arts-based businesses, and creative practitioners from across the area. Initiatives such as Music-in-Motion, Lunch time performances, Free Artist Workshops including fluid ink, flower arranging, pottery, and calligraphy were offered. In additon, Carmen Community Artist was invited to be the Community Artist in Residence. Local artists were invited to hang art in the window of local businesses. Partnerhips were created with the Hoboken Library, New Jersey Transit, Mile Square Theater, Hoboken Housing Authority, and more.
