Hoboken Business Alliance Art Month Artist in Residence  Ronah Harris Community Quilt

The HBA partnered with The City of Hoboken, The Hoboken Public Library and Art Month Artist in Residence Ronah Harris to create a Hoboken Community Quilt . Over the course of five weeks, members were brought together to an international quilting bee focused on embroidery and family-related themes centered around residents from the community. This collaborative effort took place at the Hoboken Library, where participants met regularly to foster a sense of community and to document the experiences of a changing city. The subject of the colorful quilt is a map of Hoboken. Library members were invited to hand embroider the quilt to customize and enhance the map of  Hoboken.
